Okay... I know I haven't posted anything in a while but guys please give me some time - I've had a FULL two weeks. Last week was Convocation and this week school started and this weekend I will be busy all day everyday (no exaggeration) - so I'm a little behind. My apologies... I'll be posting something soon. Kierra "Kiki" Sheard is engaged!

Okay! So I'm a little late posting this - HOWEVER I knew about this the day after it happened - but if you don't know by now then you're DEFINITELY late! ...Kiki Sheard is now an engaged lady! She's engaged to Pastor Welton Smith IV. I just want to say that they have done a GREAT job keeping their relationship private - not too many people knew about the couple. Aside from Kiki becoming a wife, she'll also enter into the role of a First Lady ...Wow! Here's a picture of the ring (I think I was expecting a little more from the ring... Fantasia Is Out!

So Fantasia is out of the hospital! :) *sigh of relief* She was spotted yesterday outside of her home with Antwaun Cook (the married guy she was accused of having an affair with). I have a picture for you guys - the extra guy in the photo is a camera man recording them too...possibly for another season of her reality show.

Tye Tribbett is letting go of G.A. (Greater Anointing) and releasing a solo album. "Fresh" is due to come out October 19. As I get more info, I'll let you guys know.

Fantasia In The Hospital For Overdose

*sigh* I don't even know what to say. Fantasia was rushed to the hospital last night (Monday night) around 9pm due to medication overdose. My heart really does go out to her. I get the impression that she's lost and is looking for something/someone to feel a void & I want her to realize only God can feel that.

Men Wearing Hats vs Women Wearing Hats

So I'm deeply bothered by the fact it's socially acceptable for females to wear hats inside a building but it's considered disrespectful when a male does the same. I read that headwear was initially worn to offer protection from injury (falling rocks, weapons, etc) and as time has went on head covering became a sign of authority and eventually it became an art form.

In the middle ages when garbage and waste was thrown out the window the men would walk on the outside of the pathway with very large hats and the hats would catch whatever would be thrown out of the window so it would not land on the lady they were walking with and so when they went inside they would take their hats off and dump everything out

In the 18th and 19th centuries, many of the men wore top hats and they would hide their pistols under their hats. As a sign of being an honest man, the men would remove their hats upon entering another person's home. However, down the road it lost its meaning.

Now when we refer to women wearing hats it's viewed as a fashion statement; what is the difference between a men and women wearing a hat inside? ...is the woman better than the man? - that's the appearance it gives off. And it's not like women only wear dressy hats, I mean if I lady came inside with a baseball cap on it would STILL be acceptable for her - but ohhh don't let a man come in with a baseball cap, he'd be scolded. Smh.

I see the purpose of men removing their hats in the past but now I'm not so sure I see the reasoning now. Anyone dare to explain?

Fantasia's Sex Tape Scandal

Soooooooo Fantasia has been accused and found guilty of being in an affair. It's gets worse; the dude is married. AND it gets worse; they recorded themselves having sex. *sigh* Smh. Fantasia met Antwaun Cook in a T-Mobile store ( I hope she doesn't have T-Mobile, they SUCK) back in August of 2009. They've actually been seen in public together too. I'm lost for words about right now. Alright so let me go 'head an share some thoughts (I don't have alot):

1) If you're going to have sex, why would you record it? ....ESPECIALLY if you're not married! HELLO! R. Kelly, Kim Kardashian, and numerous others are examples that these sex tapes ALWAYS get out - they always do!

2) The wife is smart! She waits two weeks before Fantasia's album comes out (August 24) to expose her! ...this could mean that Fantasia looses MAJOR (& I mean MAJOR) amounts of fans which could ultimately affect her CD sales.
